Licence terms

The Digital Sovereignty Heatmap knowledge base (vendors, categories and curated European alternatives) is a database of Accans. The terms below apply to the use of the data and of the reports generated from it.

1. Standard licence (non-commercial)

• ·Non-commercial use of the data and of branded reports is free with attribution: "Data: digitalsovereignty.accans.com, version [date]".
• ·Non-commercial covers personal use, education, research and internal use within your own organisation without passing it on to third parties.
• ·Republication of the dataset (in whole or in part, in any format), resale and inclusion in your own products or services are not permitted.

2. Whitelabel licence

• ·Applies to the whitelabel report and to the product "Whitelabel reports, 12 months".
• ·You may use whitelabel reports commercially, under your own name, for your own clients.
• ·The provenance line in the footer ("Data: digitalsovereignty.accans.com, version [date]") stays in place. It is attribution, not branding, and protects you when questions about the data arise.
• ·You may use the reports for your own analyses and clients. Republication, resale or onward supply of the underlying data, and inclusion in third-party products, services or APIs, are not permitted.
• ·Access is personal to the buyer (organisation). The access link may not be shared outside your own organisation.

3. Business data licence and API access

Republication, integration into products or automated access require a separate business licence.

4. General

• ·The data is compiled and verified with care, but without warranty of accuracy or completeness. Vendor facts change; verify decisive facts with the vendor.
• ·Reports are a decision aid, not legal advice.
• ·Delivery is digital and immediate after payment. When ordering you expressly request immediate delivery and acknowledge waiving the 14-day right of withdrawal; purchases are therefore non-refundable.
• ·These terms are governed by Dutch law.
